We Have A Choice.

We may have rich and powerful politicians and bureaucrats in Washington DC, or we may have rich and powerful people.

We may have wars, poverty, and tyranny, or we may have peace, prosperity, and progress.

Our President should understand that some of the major ways that politicians and bureaucrats in Washington DC get their abusive power are by:

1. granting special privileges to their friends at the expense of everyone else, and
2. taking money from some people and giving the money to other people.

Voluntary exchange is the fountainhead of economic and other activity. The interference by politicians and bureaucrats with voluntary exchange strikes at the core of our ability to live in peace with each other and destroys jobs and other economic pursuits. Therefore, to reduce the harmful interference of politicians and bureaucrats, I advocate the following as part of the solution:

No more bailouts, loans, subsidies, grants, loan guarantees, stock purchases, nor other special privileges granted by politicians and bureaucrats — nor theft and larceny of the taxpayer's money. Stopping these activities should be a paramount objective of a Libertarian President.

Our President should abolish registration for the draft and order all United States military forces safely home.

Thanks to the blessings of the Second Amendment, we will be able to keep America safe from any foreign invasion and drastically reduce the size and expense of the military.

Our President should adopt a non-interventionist foreign policy that includes free trade (voluntary exchange between those from here and there) and the peace, prosperity, and progress that free trade brings.

On the day we have a Libertarian President, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Education, and the Department of Labor should be abolished.

On that day, our President should abolish the FEC, DEA, EPA, OSHA, and the rest of the alphabet nonsense of the politicians and bureaucrats in Washington DC.

On the first day, say goodbye to the personal Income Tax.

A Libertarian President should make "Social Security" and Medicaid voluntary.

Our President should abolish legal tender laws and the Federal Reserve System: Enforce laws against fraud and all currency of the federal government will be backed by silver or gold.

A Libertarian President, with a little help, should remove the obstacles of the politicians and bureaucrats in Washington DC and allow the peace, prosperity, and progress that human liberty brings.

A Libertarian President should limit the size and scope of the actions taken by the politicians and bureaucrats in Washington DC. The proper role of government is the protection our rights to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

We have a choice. I've made mine. The rest is up to you.
